Recently, Chen Jitian, a member of the municipal government’s Party leadership group and Party Secretary of the Scenic Area, met with Liu Weiwei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Jiangxi Natural Gas Group, and his delegation. During the meeting, the two sides held a symposium and exchanged views on issues such as gas supply security and gas safety. Li Hongwei, a leader of the Scenic Area’s Party and government, and heads of relevant departments also attended the meeting.

Chen Jitian welcomed Liu Weiwei and his delegation on their visit, and expressed gratitude for the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Gas Group’s long-term support of Lushan Xihai’s economic and social development. He noted that as Lushan Xihai’s tourism industry continues to advance and the investment climate keeps improving, the demand for clean, efficient, economical, and safe energy is growing steadily. He expressed hope that both sides would strengthen their coordination, fully leverage the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Gas Group’s professional and technical strengths, further optimize energy infrastructure planning, accelerate the construction of natural gas pipeline networks, enhance public service capabilities and standards, and continuously boost the sense of happiness, fulfillment, and security among the general public. He instructed relevant departments and units to carry out unified planning, implement projects in a phased manner, and build livelihood projects to high standards. He also emphasized the need to reinforce safety awareness, step up hazard identification efforts, and clearly define the responsibilities of all parties involved. Moreover, he urged them to take proactive and initiative-driven approaches, thoroughly address existing issues, streamline approval procedures, create a favorable environment for cooperation, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Liu Weiwei and his delegation expressed their gratitude for Lushan Xihai’s long-term support and attention to gas and natural gas-related work, and briefly introduced the specific details of the natural gas project. Liu Weiwei stated that Jiangxi Provincial Natural Gas Group will dedicate itself wholeheartedly to the project’s construction, leveraging its professional strengths to effectively address gas safety hazards and reduce gas costs for residents, thereby making new contributions to Lushan Xihai’s high-quality development.
