On March 31, the Guidance Committee for Spiritual Civilization Construction of Jiangxi Province issued the document “Notice on the Annual Re-inspection Results for 2020 of Civilized Units and Civilized Campuses in Jiangxi Province” (Gan Wen Ming Ban [2021] No. 4). The Management Committee of Lushan Xihai Scenic Area successfully passed the re-inspection and once again earned the title of “Civilized Unit of Jiangxi Province.”

In recent years, with the strong support and careful guidance from the provincial and municipal committees (offices) for spiritual civilization, the Management Committee of Lushan Xihai has taken the opportunity of creating a “provincial-level civilized unit” to uphold Party leadership, fully leverage the scenic area’s advantages, integrate it with the 5A-level development initiative, draw on advanced management practices, and use civilization-building efforts to strengthen the three key areas of style building, discipline building, and team building. The committee is striving to create five signature features—poetic and picturesque Xihai, healthy Xihai, fashionable Xihai, sporty Xihai, and culturally rich Xihai—and thus write a new chapter of high-quality, leapfrog development for the scenic area.
