Temporary Traffic Control Notice: Notice of Temporary Traffic Control During the Ring Poyang Elite Race (Jiujiang·Lushan West Sea Station)

2020 Poyang Lake International Cycling Elite Race (Jiujiang) · The Lushan Xihai Station will be held on November 15, 2020, at the Jin’kou Scenic Area in the Lushan Xihai Scenic Zone. To ensure the smooth running of the competition, and in accordance with relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China, temporary traffic control measures will be implemented on the race route during the event. The relevant details are hereby announced as follows:

I. Race Route

Jinkou Tourist Pier → Lakeside Avenue → Expressway Connector → Intersection of Zhonghai Resort Area → Tourist Road in Zhonghai Resort Area → Watson Hotel → Tourist Road in Zhonghai Resort Area → County Road 135 → Entrance to Huqian Valley Scenic Area → Xifan Village’s Suanzhou Rural Highway → Suanzhou Intersection → Lakeside Avenue → Jinkou Tourist Pier.

II. Competition Time

November 15, 2020, 9:00–10:50

III. Control Measures

(1) Control Period: November 15, 2020, 7:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.

(2) Closed Road Sections: Jin’kou Tourist Pier, Lakeside Avenue, Expressway Connector, Intersection of Zhonghai Resort Area, Tourist Road in Zhonghai Resort Area, Watson Hotel, Rural Road No. 135, Huqian Valley Scenic Area, Shangfan Village’s Suanzhou Country Road, Suanzhou Intersection, and the Jin’kou Toll Plaza Entrance/Exit of the Yongwu Expressway.

(3) Traffic Control Regulations: During the control period, all vehicles and pedestrians are prohibited from traveling along the race route. The entire section will be under complete traffic closure. Except for vehicles and pedestrians required for the race, no non-race vehicles or pedestrians are allowed to enter the track. From 8:00 p.m. on November 14 until the end of the race, no vehicles may be parked in the area. In addition, please strengthen the management of livestock and pets to prevent them from entering the race track.

(4) Evacuation Routes:

1. Vehicles heading toward the Jin’kou exit from Nanchang and Jiujiang via the expressway can exit at Meitang ahead of time.

2. Vehicles traveling from Wuhan and Xiushui via the expressway and heading toward the Jin’kou exit can exit the highway early at the Wuning exit.

3. Vehicles traveling from Nan Yi and Guan Lian along S406 toward Jinkou and then towards Wuning County can take G220 and detour via Luxi and Nangao Mountain.
