On September 14, Chen Jitian, a member of the municipal government’s Party group and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Scenic Area, chaired a coordination meeting on the 5A-level tourism development of Lushan Xihai at the Creation Office. Zheng Qinghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Scenic Area, and Zou Xiufeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee, also attended the meeting.
The meeting heard reports on the progress of rectifications made by the establishment office in response to the problem checklist, the current status of ongoing work, and the key issues that need to be coordinated and resolved in alignment with the 5A rating standards. Reports were also given on the progress of the Meizhe Line level crossings, the Zhelin Old Town project, and various working groups, as well as the issues that require coordination and resolution. Relevant opinions and measures were discussed and deliberated on-site.
Chen Jitian pointed out that national 5A-level tourist attractions are highly prestigious landmarks that play a crucial role in boosting tourism popularity and expanding the tourism market. It is essential to firmly focus on key areas, critical links, and weak points, further refine measures, identify and address gaps, and implement improvements with progress tracked weekly and daily. Chen Jitian emphasized four key requirements: First, we must further accelerate the pace of advancement. We should take the initiative to reach out, proactively engage, and drive forward projects, strictly adhering to the timelines outlined in the task list to achieve targets on time and with high quality, and steadily and meticulously implement each task. Second, we must intensify publicity efforts. We need to closely collaborate with news media, foster a positive working atmosphere, create an engaging environment, increase public awareness and participation, and build a strong sense of collective involvement in the creation process. Third, we must strengthen supervision and oversight. We should wield the “supervisory whip” and uphold strict discipline, conducting substantive inspections every week, paying close attention to individuals, specific issues, and actual problems encountered. Fourth, we must further deepen our efforts to improve work style. We must put extra pressure on ourselves and take the lead. Take action and shoulder the responsibility of "forging iron," devoting all our efforts to advancing the creation work.
