Inspecting the site, listening to reports, identifying issues, and raising quality standards—once again, the secretary and director are coordinating the advancement of key 5A-level creation projects.

2020-09-27

On September 27, Chen Jitian, a member of the municipal government’s Party leadership group and Party Secretary of the Scenic Area Party Committee, along with Zheng Qinghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee, conducted on-site inspections of key projects under the 5A-level creation initiative to assess the progress of each project firsthand. Zou Xiufeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and all members of the Party and government leadership team, as well as principal officials from various townships and departments, participated in the inspection.

Chen Jitian and Zheng Qinghua, accompanied by their team, visited a series of key demonstration projects one after another, including the level crossing on the Meizhe Line, the renovation of the Hetou Group in Yijiahe Village, island renovation, the renovation of the Sima Tourist Center, and the development of smart scenic areas. Along the way, they inspected the sites firsthand, listened to progress reports, identified potential issues, and raised quality standards. They gained a detailed understanding of the overall project planning and construction progress, engaged in in-depth discussions with the heads of the project units, conducted on-site office work, provided on-site guidance, and resolved existing problems right at the site. Afterwards, they convened a coordination meeting to set forth specific requirements for effectively managing epidemic prevention and control, tourist reception, and project advancement during the National Day Golden Week.

Chen Jitian emphasized five key areas: First, maintain unwavering vigilance in construction management. We must pay equal attention to both safety and schedule, strengthen the implementation of details, make timely local adjustments, and reinforce construction supervision. Further align with established targets and benchmarks to enhance project quality and efficiency. Second, never slacken in tourist services. We need to boost both hardware and software capabilities, always keeping tourists at the center of our efforts. We must not only attract visitors with appealing business formats but also retain them through high-quality, heartfelt service—practicing empathy and providing warm, attentive care. Third, remain vigilant in epidemic prevention and control. We should strike a balance between routine measures and targeted efforts, rigorously implement and refine prevention and control protocols, build a robust and comprehensive prevention network, and establish flexible and adaptable working mechanisms. Fourth, maintain strict safety controls. We must foster dual circulation—orderly operations and visitor flow—intensify inspections for potential safety hazards, strengthen market order supervision, enhance emergency response capabilities, and ensure that scenic areas operate efficiently, safely, and in good order. Fifth, stay firmly committed to our goals. We must promote both capacity-building and tackling tough challenges, clearly define target standards, muster strong determination and enthusiasm, proactively offer front-line, precise, and efficient services, and work together in unity to strengthen and expand the Lushan Xihai tourism brand.

Zheng Qinghua requested that we firmly grasp key areas such as tourism reception, signage and wayfinding, covert inspections for assessment, and management and service provision. We should focus on the most critical and challenging issues, ensure that responsible parties fully assume their duties, concentrate our efforts, and efficiently and orderly advance all tasks. We must do our utmost to guarantee holiday tourism safety and strive for early success in achieving 5A-level certification.
