Bold and spirited, we stride across the Yalu River.
“Defending peace and safeguarding our motherland is the same as defending our hometown…”
To safeguard peace and resist aggression,
The heroic soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army
Crossing the Yalu River without hesitation,
Together with the Korean people and army,
After two years and nine months of fierce, life-or-death battles fought with unwavering courage,
Achieved the great victory in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea.

The volunteer soldiers made tremendous sacrifices.
Defended the security of the newly established republic,
Safeguarded the environment for the people’s peaceful lives,
The Americans, who possess advanced land, sea, and air forces as well as atomic bombs.
They made it to the negotiating table.

From October 1950 to June 1951, the Chinese and North Korean forces conducted five consecutive campaigns, driving the invading forces from the banks of the Yalu and Tumen Rivers back to near the 38th Parallel. Why is the battle flag so beautifully painted,
The hero’s blood stained her red.
Why does spring always linger on the earth?
The hero’s life blooms with flowers...
In that war,
197,653 sons and daughters of China
On land blooming with golden dahlia flowers
Gave up their precious lives.

Heroes, radiant as a constellation of stars, shine brightly in the sky of history.
Their names will forever be etched in the hearts of the people.
