On the morning of June 13, the 2020 Jiangxi Province Tourism Industry Development Conference was held in Ruijin, Ganzhou. The Lushan Xihai Scenic Area was awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Provincial Tourist Attraction of 2019,” and it is the only entity from our city to receive this award.

In recent years, Lushan West Sea has consistently adhered to the development philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," vigorously promoting all aspects of its scenic area. As a result, the tourism economy has maintained steady and positive growth, institutional reforms have progressed smoothly, brand effects have significantly improved, project construction has been accelerated across the board, ecological conservation efforts have yielded remarkable results, and various social undertakings within the scenic area have developed steadily and in an orderly manner.

Going forward, Lushan West Sea will remain guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, conscientiously implement the work arrangements of the central, provincial, and municipal authorities, firmly uphold the bottom line of “protecting the pristine waters of the lake,” closely focus on the overarching goal of “building a world-class tourism destination,” seize the two key levers of deepening reform and pursuing 5A-level certification, achieve breakthroughs in four major areas—publicity and marketing, tourism transportation, project development, and the tourism industry—and strive to create five signature features: “Poetic and Picturesque West Sea, Healthy West Sea, Fashionable West Sea, Sports-oriented West Sea, and Cultural West Sea.” We will ensure the successful establishment of Lushan West Sea as a national 5A-level scenic area and write a new chapter of high-quality, leapfrog development for the scenic spot.
