At the Zhelin Reservoir on the West Sea of Lushan, Xie Laifa pointed out that the city’s flood control and disaster relief efforts have now entered a stage of stalemate and deadlock. Floodwaters exceeding warning levels will continue to persist, and dangerous situations remain likely, frequent, and recurring. We must fully recognize the current situation, resolutely overcome complacency and war-weariness, strictly implement regular patrols and hazard inspections along embankments, and spare no effort in carrying out all aspects of emergency rescue and disaster relief work. Relevant departments should promptly report and assess disaster damage, accelerate the repair of damaged infrastructure, and firmly fight and win this tough battle of emergency rescue, disaster relief, and post-disaster reconstruction.

The Lushan West Sea Scenic Area boasts thousands of islands shimmering on crystal-clear waters and breathtaking natural beauty. Xie Laifa visited, one after another, the old town of Zhelin, the Jiangjunxia Wuwang Valley Scenic Area, and the Si Wuxie Homestay, conducting on-site investigations and listening to a work report on the efforts to develop the Lushan West Sea into a 5A-level tourist attraction, thereby gaining an understanding of the project’s progress. He pointed out that it is essential to accelerate the pace of developing the Lushan West Sea into a 5A-level tourist attraction, pushing forward with full force the construction of various projects according to established timelines. Moreover, we must ground our efforts in reality and tailor them to local conditions, further enriching the commercial offerings within the scenic area to attract more visitors, liven up the streets, and boost consumer activity.
