Lushan West Sea: The 2020 Launching Ceremony for the West Sea Rafting Activity Was Held.

On May 23, the launch ceremony for the 2020 Xihai Rafting on Lushan Xihai was held at the visitor center of the Jiangjunxia Scenic Area. Zheng Qinghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the scenic area, and Zou Xiufeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the ceremony.

Before the event began, there was a welcoming drumbeat and an ancient-style sign-in. The ceremony kicked off with the energetic “Drum Warrior Dance,” followed by a variety of activities—including traditional Chinese music performances, dance routines, and WeChat-based lucky draws—that brought the ceremony to a thrilling climax. Finally, led by management committee members such as Zheng Qinghua and Zou Xiufeng, the inaugural 2020 West Sea Rafting trip was officially launched through the presentation of “oars,” the firing of a cannon, and the release of dry ice.

It is reported that the Xihai Rafting in Jiangjun Gorge has been designed around the theme “A Ten-Mile Gallery, Hearts Bloom with Joy.” The entire rafting journey spans 5.1 kilometers and takes approximately 1.5 hours. It’s divided into three distinct sections: the warm and leisurely “Leisurely Float,” the breathtakingly beautiful “Fantasy Float,” and the thrilling “Warrior Float”—each offering its own unique charm. This is the rafting destination in central China boasting the cleanest water, the most stunning scenery, the most fantastical atmosphere, and the greatest thrills.
