Employing multiple measures and providing warm-hearted services, Lushan Xihai welcomed over 60,000 visitors in an orderly manner during the "May Day" holiday.

During the “May Day” holiday, scenic areas implemented a variety of measures—including flow restrictions and controlled visitor numbers—as well as warm and attentive services, successfully welcoming 60,500 tourists in an orderly manner and generating tourism revenue of 39.0225 million yuan.

On the main thoroughfares leading into the scenic area, it’s common to see public security officers and security personnel standing guard, directing traffic, and guiding and diverting crowds. Officer Cheng Ziwan told reporters: “Before the May Day holiday, we issued a notice restricting truck traffic and set up designated transfer zones to guide vehicles to park in an orderly manner and ensure smooth traffic flow.”

At the scenic area’s visitor center, young volunteers and female volunteers—wearing “red vests” and keeping their eyes constantly alert to visitors—assist the scenic area in providing guidance, conducting temperature checks and registration for visitors entering the lake area, scanning the “Gantong Code” QR codes, and freely distributing informational materials about the scenic spot. Meanwhile, they also offer thoughtful services such as providing hot water, free consultations, and detailed introductions to various attractions in the lobby, earning continuous praise from visitors.

Tourist Ms. Liu said, “Because they can help us tourists answer some minor questions—for example, which place needs certain items—they explain things quite well. So I think this kind of service is really quite good and could continue to develop.”
