Jiangxi’s first batch of medical team aiding Hubei has moved into Lushan Xihai for recuperation.

“On the Road to Fighting the Epidemic, We’re Grateful for You.” On March 20, Lushan Xihai put up a slogan to welcome the first batch of 137 medical workers from Jiangxi Province—who had come to Hubei—to this location for centralized recuperation.

For the past 54 days and nights, they have remained steadfastly on the front lines of the fight against the epidemic. Faced with COVID-19, they have maintained unwavering vigilance in their thinking and have done everything possible to provide patients with high-quality medical care. With actions that reflect a life lived without regret, they are faithfully fulfilling their sacred duty and mission of saving lives and alleviating suffering.

To welcome the heroic抗疫 fighters back, Lushan Xihai has meticulously planned ahead by providing employees with comprehensive safety training in advance and thoroughly disinfecting the entire environment. They have thoughtfully placed fruit baskets and little cards in each room, and carefully arranged every meal, including a special Xihai-style fish soup, to comfort and honor the抗疫 heroes, ensuring they can rest peacefully and return to work with renewed energy and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, all medical staff who assisted Hubei are offered a special 2020 promotion: free admission to Xihai and discounted access to hot springs, as a heartfelt tribute and gift to these heroes.

It is reported that this medical team has treated a total of 302 COVID-19 patients, including 150 severe cases and 94 critically severe cases. They also conducted screening for 600 people at nearby quarantine sites and in the community. Moreover, the team performed the very first ECMO treatment in the history of Wuhan’s Fifth Hospital—and the first ECMO treatment ever carried out by any medical team from Jiangxi Province assisting Hubei Province. Throughout the entire mission, the medical staff maintained “zero infections.”
