On November 18, Ding Xichun, Vice Mayor of Jiujiang Municipal Government, visited Lushan West Sea to conduct a research visit on the progress of the provincial shooting sports center project. Li Yuanqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the scenic area, accompanied him.

The provincial shooting sports center project—total investment of 400 million yuan and covering an area of 300 mu—is now being vigorously advanced. This project serves as a flagship initiative for Lushan Xihai to develop a sports-and-recreation theme and establish itself as a national demonstration base for sports tourism. “When will the project break ground?” “What are the distinctive features of the project’s plan?” Ding Xichun visited the project site, observing carefully and asking detailed questions. He listened closely to reports from various relevant units on the project’s implementation status, gained a deep understanding of the challenges and bottlenecks in project advancement, and made arrangements and deployments for the next steps.

Ding Xichun pointed out that the shooting sports center project is a key focus of the upcoming Provincial Games, and both the provincial and municipal authorities are paying close attention to its progress. We must elevate our perspective, attach great importance to the project, pool our collective wisdom and efforts, firmly assign responsibilities, and go all out to advance the project construction. We need to strengthen communication and coordination, promptly address any challenges in project implementation, and handle relevant procedures in strict accordance with laws and regulations. We must ensure adequate funding, staffing, and material supplies for the project, rigorously fulfill our primary responsibility for safe production, and guarantee that the project progresses on schedule. We should adhere to the competition requirements of the Provincial Games, adopt high-level design and build to high standards, intensify supervision and scheduling, and ensure that the project is exquisite and refined.
