At the press conference held on the 20th by the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, Wang Bin, Inspector of the Disease Control Bureau of the National Health Commission, stated that across the country, sampling should be conducted at the township level and testing carried out at the county level. Testing institutions must provide feedback on test results within 12 hours of receiving samples. If individuals absolutely must return home, they will need to present a negative nucleic acid test result issued within 7 days in order to be allowed to return. Upon their return, local grassroots governments will implement grid-based management for these returning individuals. At the same time, adequate preparations must be made for quarantine facilities and testing capacity, so that once an outbreak occurs, a swift response can be mounted.
