On November 20, Pan Xining, a member of the Municipal Party Committee and head of the Publicity Department, visited the Sima Tourist Wharf on Lushan West Sea to conduct a research visit on the progress of the 5A scenic area designation. Chen Jitian, a member of the municipal government’s Party leadership group and secretary of the Party Working Committee of the scenic area, and Zou Xiufeng, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee, accompanied the visit.
Pan Xining conducted an on-site inspection of the scenic area’s smart tourism command center and learned about the construction progress and development vision for the ancient town of Zhelin. Since July of this year, the Lushan West Sea Scenic Area has been undergoing a comprehensive upgrade and renovation, with a strong focus on project implementation and accelerated construction schedules. Currently, the finishing work on these projects has been completed. The smart scenic area project, through backend management and control, can perform functions such as monitoring, control, maintenance, security, emergency response, patrol inspections, and overall management, enabling real-time control and management of the entire scenic area. The Zhelin Ancient Town project covers an area of over 200 mu and features a total construction area of more than 20,000 square meters. Upon completion, it will become a comprehensive landmark attraction integrating dining, entertainment, and performance experiences.
Pan Xining pointed out that, through an integrated smart scenic area management and control platform, it is essential to monitor visitor flows in real time and precisely pinpoint their locations. By focusing on specific areas and then expanding outward, we can amplify the impact and enhance the precision of promotional efforts for scenic spots. Meanwhile, the Zhe Lin Old Town project should rise to the challenge, delve deeply into the culture of West Sea, and leverage water as a key element to better shape a culturally rich and charming West Sea, thereby providing strong support for driving high-quality economic development across the city.
