Cycling amidst mountains and waters, savoring the poetic beauty of Xihai—The 2020 Poyang Lake Cycling Elite Race was held on November 15 in the picturesque Xihai Scenic Area of Lushan. More than 300 cycling enthusiasts from across the province took part in this competition. Since its inception in 2010, Jiangxi has hosted this event annually, and this year marks the 11th edition—the one with the largest number of participants yet.

In recent years, the Lushan West Sea Scenic Area, leveraging its abundant water resources and the synergy between mountains and waters, has vigorously promoted a “sports-plus-tourism” development strategy. Centered on sports, health, and leisure activities, the area has organized a series of high-quality sporting events, fostering the healthy development of Sports West Sea and Active West Sea, and injecting new vitality and momentum into the implementation of the Lushan West Sea’s broader tourism development strategy.
