On July 14 and 15, Chen Jitian, a member of the municipal government’s Party leadership group and Party Secretary of the scenic area, visited the Creation Office to oversee on-site the efforts to achieve 5A status. He also chaired a supervisory meeting on the creation of Lushan Xihai as a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Zheng Qinghua, Deputy Secretary of the scenic area’s Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee, attended and delivered a speech at the supervisory meeting. Deputy Secretary Zou Xiufeng was also present.

Chen Jitian listened to reports from the heads of various working groups within the Creation Office on the progress of ongoing creation efforts. He also conducted on-site office work, thoroughly analyzing and discussing the problems and challenges encountered in the creation process, and made further arrangements and deployments for the next steps.

Chen Jitian emphasized that everyone across the region must further recognize the current situation, unite their hearts and minds, and muster all their energy. With a strong sense of responsibility and mission, with the confidence and determination to “fight hard for two months and strive to achieve 5A status,” and through solid and efficient implementation of tasks, we must resolutely win this tough battle.

Chen Jitian called for further clarifying thinking and defining pathways, taking a holistic and coordinated approach, closely adhering to the requirements for creation, highlighting key priorities, implementing concrete measures, and strengthening management to ensure that all work is carried out in an orderly and systematic manner. It is also necessary to further refine tasks and plans, identify existing problems, address them promptly, fill in any gaps, and establish long-term management and regular scheduling mechanisms. Moreover, we must enhance communication and coordination, ensure seamless integration, get down to the ground level, keep abreast of the work situation, prepare regular work briefs, make rational arrangements, and improve work efficiency. We should also intensify supervision and accountability, meticulously checking each item against responsible entities, task assignments, and deadlines, adopting a goal-oriented approach and driving progress through strict time management. Finally, we must further strengthen logistical support, promote simultaneous improvements in both hardware and software, ensure quality, guarantee safety, and maintain schedule adherence, thus fully advancing the effort to develop Lushan Xihai into a national 5A-level scenic area.

Zheng Qinghua requested that funds be effectively coordinated and allocated. Relevant departments and units should work together in areas such as fiscal funds, project funding, and financing to ensure the smooth operation of scenic areas and the orderly advancement of projects. They must attach great importance to the quality and procedural requirements of the 5A-level designation process, striving to deliver high-quality projects and maintain integrity in all undertakings in accordance with laws and regulations. It is essential to maintain a normalized working approach, balancing the 5A-level designation efforts with tourism reception services, and to earnestly promote and fully implement these initiatives, thereby creating a favorable situation that attracts tourists, boosts public interest, and supports the 5A-level designation.
