On July 27, Li Xiaoping, Vice Mayor of the municipal government, visited Lushan Xihai to inspect the progress of the 5A-level scenic area designation efforts. Chen Jitian, member of the municipal government’s Party Leadership Group and Party Secretary of the scenic area, Zheng Qinghua, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of the Management Committee, and Zou Xiufeng, Deputy Party Secretary, accompanied him.

During the field investigation, Li Xiaoping and his delegation visited and inspected, in turn, the renovation of the Meitang Expressway exit toll station, the upgrading and improvement of the Meizhe Road, the environmental remediation project for the 5A-level scenic area designation, and island redevelopment projects. At each site, Li Xiaoping took a close look at the overall project layout, construction progress, and plans for future development. At the 5A-level Scenic Area Creation Office, Li Xiaoping listened to reports on the progress, measures, achievements, and next-step work plans for the creation effort, and engaged in on-site discussions to address challenges and issues encountered during the implementation process.

Li Xiaoping pointed out that the scenic area project should be advanced following the approach of “integrated design and phased construction,” with meticulous execution and proactive promotion. It is crucial to strictly adhere to key milestones, ensure steady project progress, and maintain rigorous standards for safety and quality. We must strengthen task implementation, leverage our advantageous resources, and elevate the level of creation. With brand promotion as the core, we should promptly finalize our external publicity slogans and positioning, intensify marketing efforts, and expand our influence. We need to achieve seamless integration between internal and external work within the scenic area, step up efforts to integrate resources and improve infrastructure development, and ensure smooth coordination between project schedules and acceptance timelines. With the determination and will to conquer every challenge, we must resolutely win the tough battle of achieving 5A-level certification.
