Amid the gentle, leisurely rain, I wander through a ink-and-wash painting—exploring West Sea by boat in the rain.

HI! Have you ever seen Lushan’s West Lake before the rain? Today is the fourth day of National Day. There are three different levels to enjoying a lake cruise—first, cruising on the lake in the snow; and second, cruising on the lake in the rain.

The towering mountains in front of the dock were shrouded in rain and mist, resembling a vivid ink-wash landscape painting.

One day, the sudden drop in temperature caught everyone off guard. Just yesterday, it was still sweltering and bustling—now, all of a sudden, you’d almost want to bundle up in a thick cotton coat before heading out. Yet, here and there, a few robust tourists have already donned short sleeves and set off to “conquer” Lushan West Sea!

But our caring staff has prepared brown sugar ginger tea for you. If you’re feeling cold or unwell, feel free to approach our staff for assistance!

The lake’s surface is calm and serene, while the distant clouds are thick and fluffy like cotton. This extraordinary sight has drawn tourists to stop and take photos as souvenirs.
The rain was falling steadily, yet it didn't dampen our enthusiasm for sightseeing in the slightest.

Part of the beauty of a journey comes from the yearning in our hearts. It’s like going on your first date with someone you’ve just started dating.

The Jiangnan region seems inseparable from its rainy landscapes. The moist air cleanses your lungs, and as you wander through the paintings, you also seem to “nurture” yourself within them.

In the evening, the West Sea glows with a mysterious purple hue, reminiscent of Monet’s oil paintings—soft, hazy, and romantic.
Friendly reminder:
With a sudden drop in temperature, remember to dress warmly and bring rain gear. Come to Lushan Xihai this National Day and experience a leisurely journey through misty rain—just like wandering through a traditional ink-and-wash painting!
