On September 17, the deployment meeting for tourism reception during the 2020 National Day Golden Week in the scenic area was held. Attending the meeting were Zou Xiufeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the scenic area; Xu Songhua, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee; and Zhou Ying, Member of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Lushan West Sea Branch of the Municipal Public Security Bureau. Representatives from various townships, relevant departments, and tourism-related enterprises also participated in the meeting.

The meeting conveyed the “Notice on Doing a Good Job in Tourism Reception and Safety During the 2020 National Day Golden Week at Lushan Xihai,” and laid out plans for tourism safety and epidemic prevention and control during the National Day Golden Week.

The meeting requested that, First, we must elevate our political awareness and strengthen our ideological understanding. The hospitality work during this National Day Golden Week is of great significance and serves as a crucial test for the 5A-level creation effort. All sectors across the region must uphold the principle of putting service first, enhance service quality, and build a robust service system to ensure that tourists have an even better travel experience. Second, we must clarify our goals and plan ahead. Carry out tourism promotion work in advance to create a strong atmosphere, increase investment in tourism, and establish a robust tourism safety assurance system. Under no circumstances should we allow even a single outbreak of an epidemic, a single complaint, or a single safety accident to occur. Third, we must foster coordinated efforts across the board and bravely take on responsibilities. All departments within the scenic area must work in close coordination, strengthen supervision, and ensure effective implementation. All tourism-related enterprises should adopt a holistic approach, unite their efforts, and collaborate closely to deliver outstanding service during the National Day holiday and enhance the scenic area’s tourism brand. Fourth, we must firmly assign responsibilities and ensure rigorous implementation. Each department should clearly define its responsibilities and division of labor, closely monitor the execution of tasks, effectively communicate the spirit of the meeting, develop comprehensive work plans, make detailed work arrangements, and guarantee the smooth completion of the National Day reception activities.
