On September 14, Chen Jitian, a member of the municipal government’s Party group and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Scenic Area, chaired a coordination meeting on the 5A-level designation effort for Lushan Xihai at the Creation Office. Zheng Qinghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Scenic Area, and Zou Xiufeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee, also attended the meeting.

The meeting heard reports on the progress of rectifications made by the establishment office in response to the problem checklist, the current status of ongoing work, and the key issues that need to be coordinated and resolved in alignment with the 5A rating standards. Reports were also given on the progress of the Meizhe Line level crossings, the Zhelin Old Town project, and various working groups, as well as the issues that require coordination and resolution. Relevant opinions and measures were discussed and deliberated on-site.

Chen Jitian pointed out that national 5A-level tourist attractions are highly prestigious landmarks that serve as powerful symbols of scenic areas, playing a crucial role in boosting tourism popularity and expanding the tourism market. We must firmly focus on key areas, critical links, and weak points, further refine our measures, identify and address shortcomings, and implement improvements with concrete progress tracked weekly and daily.
Chen Jitian requested the following: First, we must further accelerate the pace of progress. We should take the initiative to reach out, proactively engage with relevant parties, and actively push forward with the work. We must strictly adhere to the timelines outlined in the task list, achieving our goals on time and with high quality, and steadily implement each task one by one. Second, we must further intensify our publicity efforts. We should closely collaborate with news media to enhance the working atmosphere, create a positive environment, increase public awareness and participation, and foster a strong sense of collective involvement in the creation effort. Third, we must further strengthen supervision and guidance of our work. We need to wield the “supervisory whip” firmly and uphold strict discipline, conducting substantive supervisory inspections every week—focusing on individuals, specific matters, and identified problems. Fourth, we must further deepen our efforts to build a sound work ethic. We should put extra pressure on ourselves, take the initiative, and wholeheartedly embrace the responsibility of “forging iron,” making every effort to advance the creation work effectively.
