On September 1, Chen Jitian, a member of the municipal government’s Party leadership group and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Scenic Area, presided over a coordination meeting on the 5A-level designation of Lushan Xihai at the Creation Office. Zheng Qinghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Scenic Area and Director of the Management Committee, and Zou Xiufeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, also attended the meeting.

The meeting heard reports from the Creation Office, the Meizhe Line Level Crossing Project Team, the Zhelin Old Town Project Team, the Smart Scenic Area Project Team, and various working groups on the current progress of their respective tasks. The meeting conducted an in-depth analysis and discussion of existing issues and challenges, and further clarified the key priorities for the current phase of work.

Chen Jitian emphasized that as we enter the critical stage of our efforts, we must face challenges squarely, remain confident, and go above and beyond the ordinary. We should seize opportunities, focus on key areas, think creatively, come up with practical solutions, and unswervingly secure the prestigious national 5A-level tourist attraction designation.
Chen Jitian emphasized the need to remain firmly oriented toward both problem-solving and goal-setting, breaking down tasks item by item, adopting a variety of flexible approaches to tackle challenges and difficulties, further strengthening communication and coordination with design agencies to ensure seamless integration, and implementing progress-driven management by aligning responsibilities, task assignments, and timeframes. It is crucial to focus on resource integration and build a smart tourism platform to high standards, enabling tourists to enjoy attentive and professional services—including travel consultations and transportation assistance—while striving to become a national leader and the top in the province. We must also do a good job in scenic area management and staff training, effectively enhancing the software service capabilities of scenic areas, improving service quality, and boosting their overall appeal. Moreover, we should vigorously promote environmental improvements, continuously consolidate existing achievements, and ensure that the scenic areas present a clean, unified, and visually striking appearance. We should enrich the new dimensions of tourism, foster emerging tourism models, continually optimize spatial layouts, improve people’s livelihoods, and resolutely win the tough battle of achieving 5A certification, thereby driving the high-quality, leapfrog development of the scenic area.
