The Lushan West Sea Scenic Area held a meeting to deploy epidemic prevention and control work.

2022-03-25

On March 24, Chen Jitian, a member of the municipal government’s Party group and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Scenic Area, presided over a meeting to deploy epidemic prevention and control measures for the Lushan Xihai Scenic Area. Zhu Ning, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee, Li Yuanqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Party and government leaders Lu Liheng, Li Hongwei, and Zhai Peipei, along with heads of various townships and relevant departments, attended the meeting.

The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of the Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, and made arrangements and deployments for the next steps in epidemic prevention and control work.

Chen Jitian emphasized that, First, we must attach great importance to this in our thinking. All sectors across the region must unify their thinking, maintain a state of readiness for battle, remain firmly determined, and bravely confront challenges. We must resolutely win this battle against the epidemic—both the offensive and defensive campaigns—and firmly ensure “external prevention of imported cases.” Second, the measures must be scientific and precise. We must grasp the core and priorities of epidemic prevention and control efforts, strengthen management at key venues such as schools and hospitals, and ensure targeted approaches in areas like grid-based surveys, information registration, and nucleic acid testing. We must rigorously implement universal nucleic acid testing, strictly manage those who fail to undergo testing on time, and resolutely block the risk of imported cases. Third, responsibilities must be firmly implemented. Strengthen supervision and assessment of epidemic prevention and control efforts, step up coordination for key tasks such as on-duty arrangements, material supply, and city-wide nucleic acid testing, strictly enforce disciplinary requirements, and effectively ensure the transmission of epidemic prevention pressure and the implementation of responsibilities. For any instances of buck-passing, inaction, or improper actions identified during inspections, hold those responsible seriously accountable to ensure that the “five-party responsibilities” are firmly enforced. Fourth, publicity must... Comprehensive Coverage. The content of epidemic prevention and control publicity efforts must be comprehensive, and the forms of communication should be diverse. We must ensure that everyone is involved and that all media channels are utilized for publicity. Social awareness campaigns, authoritative announcements, and science-based public education should all work in concert to create a strong public opinion atmosphere for epidemic prevention and control and firmly establish a robust public opinion platform for this effort.

Zhu Ning pointed out that, Command and dispatch need to be further strengthened. Implement unified command and dispatch, provide technical support, strengthen staffing, ensure supply of materials, and guarantee the continuous advancement of prevention and control efforts. Key links need to be further refined. Key venues must be thoroughly and repeatedly inspected. Personnel management and disinfection efforts at quarantine facilities need to be further refined to effectively control the risk of transmission. We must mobilize village and community personnel to intensify risk screening of incoming visitors, assigning specific teams and areas to ensure that the inspection work is completed comprehensively. Prevention and control measures need to be further optimized. Continuously and effectively implement the “Four Checks and One Mask” measures, carry out mass nucleic acid testing in an orderly manner, ensure adequate reserves of epidemic prevention supplies, and maintain 24-hour on-duty staffing.
