Lushan West Sea Hosts the 2023 Annual Review and Training Workshop for Scenic Area Tour Guides (Interpreters)

To effectively strengthen the development and management of the tour guide (interpreter) workforce in the Lushan Xihai Scenic Area, and to comprehensively enhance the basic qualities and service standards of tour guides (interpreters), the Lushan Xihai Culture, Tourism, and Sports Bureau recently held the 2023 annual review and training session for scenic area tour guides (interpreters). More than 30 tour guides (interpreters) from various scenic areas and travel agencies participated in the training.

During the training session, the instructor conducted engaging and interactive lessons covering various aspects such as dress code, personal appearance, etiquette, reception protocols, verbal communication, and service attitude. The instructor vividly and effectively introduced the key points of tour guide work while sharing personal work experiences. By using real-life cases to facilitate learning and applying what was learned in practice, the session provided valuable guidance and inspiration for tour guides (interpreters) in their future work. This training not only motivated the tour guides (interpreters) to enhance their service standards but also enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of the rich cultural and tourism resources of Lushan Xihai.

Staff from the Lushan West Sea Culture, Tourism, and Sports Bureau stated that, in the next step, they will continue to prioritize the development of tour guide quality, striving to enhance the overall ideological and moral qualities of the tour guide (interpreter) team. They will strengthen their sense of responsibility, integrity, and service awareness, and promote the ethos of dedication, commitment to one’s job, willingness to contribute, and wholehearted service to tourists—thus laying an even stronger talent foundation for building Lushan West Sea into a world-class tourist destination.
