At the promotion event, Shi Quan, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Jiujiang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Tourism, extended a warm invitation to the residents of Wuhan. Jiujiang is a renowned cultural and tourism city that seamlessly blends mountains, lakes, rivers, urban landscapes, and coastal scenery. The Lushan Xihai Scenic Area is one of Jiujiang’s two national 5A-level scenic areas, celebrated as “Cloud Residence in the Sky—Poetic and Picturesque Xihai” and “China’s Most Beautiful Lake-and-Mountain Views.” Thanks to its convenient transportation links, Lushan Xihai has become the closest “sea” to Wuhan—a beautiful, romantic haven of “poetry and distant horizons.” Wuhan residents are warmly welcome to visit and explore, experiencing firsthand the unique charm of Jiujiang’s “Nine Streams and Xunyang.”

Zhu Ning, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Lushan West Sea Scenic Area, delivered a speech stating that Lushan West Sea is a national 5A-level tourist attraction boasting a superior location, breathtaking scenery, profound cultural heritage, and abundant resources. At present, Lushan West Sea is making all-out efforts to highlight its “six signature identities”—a poetic and picturesque West Sea, a sports-oriented West Sea, a fashionable West Sea, a health-focused West Sea, a culturally rich West Sea, and a happy West Sea—with the aim of building a premier destination that is ideal for living, working, and tourism, and of establishing a comprehensive, year-round, all-season tourism model.
Public-Private Partnerships Usher in a New Chapter in Tourism Development
At the event, the Lushan West Sea Scenic Area signed strategic tourism cooperation agreements with representatives from the Wuhan Tourism Association of Hubei Province, CYTS Hubei International Travel Service, Jiangxi Huabang Media Co., Ltd. (Baidu’s Jiangxi Operations Center), and other organizations.

Through this signing, the two parties will fully leverage their respective strengths, strengthen communication and coordination, and implement comprehensive, in-depth collaborative projects in areas such as integrating cultural and tourism resources, developing high-quality cultural and tourism offerings, promoting the region’s cultural and tourism image, and revitalizing the cultural and tourism market, thereby elevating cooperation to new heights and advancing it to a new stage.

Amplify the brand presence of “Cloud Residence in the Sky, Picturesque West Sea”
A graceful and elegant dance performance of “The Dream Beauty of the Western Sea” transports the audience to another world; as the poignant melody of “Nostalgia for the Western Sea” begins to unfold, it feels as though one is sailing upon its waters, with a magnificent landscape painting slowly unfurling before your eyes.

The romantic and passionate Xihai Lake in Lushan, the exhilarating Jinshui Water World, the gastronomic delights of Zhelin Old Town, the misty, ethereal Yaochi Bay, and the otherworldly Xihai Hot Springs—each attraction’s presentation transported the guests present as if they were truly immersed in the picturesque Xihai, allowing them to personally experience the region’s rich and diverse cultural and tourism resources.

Engaging presentations, meticulously choreographed performances, and exciting prize-based interactive activities combined to offer the audience a comprehensive, multi-perspective, and immersive experience of the unique charm of Lushan West Sea, driving the event’s atmosphere to one thrilling climax after another. Finally, the attending leaders took to the stage together to launch the initiative, extending an invitation to the people of Hubei to come to Lushan West Sea for a relaxing getaway during the May Day holiday.

Free tickets and blind-box draws—nonstop on-site surprises!
Notably, the organizers have also thoughtfully prepared a grand prize worth RMB 10,000, local specialties from Lushan West Sea, an IP-themed cultural and creative product bazaar, a “Children’s Creativity Workshop,” and a 100% winning blind-box raffle for Wuhan residents.

The blind boxes contain not only free admission tickets to the Lushan West Sea Scenic Area, but also hotel accommodation vouchers, cash consumption coupons, a Xiaodu smart speaker, designer lipsticks, and cash red envelopes, warmly inviting Wuhan residents to visit West Sea and experience the boundless charm of “Cloud Retreat in the Sky—Poetic West Sea.” The diverse and engaging promotional activities on site won widespread praise from Wuhan residents and drew more than 200,000 visitors.

Wuhan is approximately 300 kilometers by car from the Xishan West Sea Scenic Area, with the two destinations sharing adjacent landscapes, close cultural ties, and convenient transportation links. This promotional event provided a comprehensive showcase of the Xishan West Sea brand image, fostering a favorable consumer environment for Jiangxi Province’s year-round tourism market while serving as a key initiative to attract visitors to Jiangxi. It also established a robust platform for tourism exchange and cooperation between Xishan West Sea and neighboring regions, thereby promoting cultural and tourism collaboration, mutual promotion, reciprocal visitor flows, resource sharing, and the joint development of culture and tourism in both areas.
