2021-02-22
Recently, our city has experienced little rainfall, resulting in a high forest fire risk and a still complex and severe situation regarding forest fire prevention and control. To strictly prevent forest fires, maintain stability in forested areas, and effectively safeguard the lives and property of the public, in accordance with the “Jiangxi Province Forest Fire Prevention Regulations” and relevant laws and regulations, our city has issued a “Fire Ban,” clearly stipulating: From today until April 30, all outdoor fires are prohibited in the city’s forest fire prevention zones.
During the fire-prohibition period, all organizations and individuals are prohibited from bringing sources of ignition and flammable or explosive materials into forest fire prevention zones. Smoking, outdoor cooking, and playing with fire are also strictly forbidden in these zones. Unauthorized mountain burning is prohibited. Burning wasteland, burning rice straw, burning field edges, and burning plant ash are all prohibited. Furthermore, during grave-visiting activities within forest fire prevention zones, burning paper offerings, lighting incense, and setting off fireworks and firecrackers are strictly forbidden.
Those who violate the above regulations and commit criminal offenses shall be held criminally liable in accordance with the law; for those whose actions do not yet constitute criminal offenses, administrative penalties shall be imposed according to law. All cadres and the general public are urged to actively participate in forest fire prevention, conscientiously abide by forest fire prevention regulations, and immediately call the Jiujiang City Forest Fire Prevention and Control Command at 0792-8221201 or the forest fire emergency hotline 12119 upon discovering any unauthorized use of fire or forest fires.
