The homestay industry continues to heat up the holiday tourism market.

This year, Lushan West Sea has vigorously developed the homestay industry. Throughout the Golden Week holiday, the 19 homestay businesses in the entire region have been selling exceptionally well, further fueling the holiday tourism market.

In the Xizi Pan Homestay at the Jinkou Scenic Area of Lushan West Sea, the father is telling a story to his daughter, while the little child nearby is playing with Lego toys. The scene is filled with warmth and joy, bustling with lively energy.

Ms. Lei, the housekeeper at Xizi Pan Homestay, told reporters: “Rooms for the National Day holiday in August are already fully booked. Now, bookings have extended all the way to mid-October—during the National Day period, it’s virtually impossible to find a room in Jin Kou.”

At the Yaochiwan scenic spot, four lakeside villas offer a truly refreshing and uplifting experience. Staying at these guesthouses and gazing at the picturesque lakeside scenery allows visitors to escape the hustle and bustle of the city during the National Day Golden Week and enjoy precious family time together.

Tourist Ms. Yao said, “I feel that there are many more amusement facilities here today. First of all, over there you can find bumper boats on the water—perfect for kids to enjoy—and over here, there are yachts you can take for a cruise around the island. Plus, the accommodation conditions are great too. The waterfront wooden cabins behind me are absolutely beautiful. I’m in an especially good mood being here.”

It is understood that the homestay industry in Lushan West Sea began to flourish in 2016. This year, during the pandemic, the number of homestays in the scenic area increased by more than one-third. Homestays such as Si Wuxie, Xizi Pan, and Qian Dao Yi Xiu have become yet another popular check-in spot in Lushan West Sea. Among them, Si Wuxie Homestay has even been honored with the title of “Top Ten Most Beautiful Homestays in Jiujiang.”
