To advance the efforts to establish the Lushan Xihai Scenic Area as a 5A-level tourist attraction and ensure effective fire safety during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, and in keeping with the spirit of the “Role Model of the Times” demonstrated by the Jiujiang Fire Rescue Detachment, on October 1, the Lushan Xihai Fire Rescue Team conducted intensive duty and security operations as well as nighttime fire safety inspections throughout the scenic area.

　　According to the security plan, to ensure fire safety at the scenic area during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, the Lushan Xihai Detachment dispatched 2 vehicles with 8 personnel for on-site duty and 1 boat with 4 personnel for mobile patrols on the lake surface. Adopting a combination of "fixed-post vigilance and mobile patrols," the detachment set up permanent duty stations to rigorously guard key areas, assisted scenic-area staff in maintaining on-site order, and remained fully prepared to respond promptly to fires and handle any emergency incidents, thereby effectively ensuring good on-site order and safeguarding the lives and property of the public.

　　To firmly prevent and curb the occurrence of serious and particularly major fire accidents, on the evening of October 1, the brigade, in collaboration with the local police station, conducted a nighttime fire safety inspection of public entertainment venues. During the inspection, the brigade’s supervisory enforcement officers and community police paid close attention to whether evacuation passages and safety exits in each venue were unobstructed; whether evacuation direction signs and emergency lighting fixtures were in good condition; whether fire-fighting facilities and equipment were functioning properly; whether employees had received fire safety training; and whether all relevant regulations were being effectively implemented. Subsequently, the inspectors randomly tested the employees’ grasp of fire safety knowledge and had them practice using fire extinguishers firsthand. Regarding the issues identified during the inspection, the supervisory enforcement officers made detailed records and informed the venue managers of each issue one by one, requiring immediate rectification. They also instructed the venues to adopt feasible measures during the rectification period to ensure fire safety.

　　In their duty and security work, all officers and soldiers of the battalion fully embodied the spirit of the “Role Model of the Times,” keeping safety at the forefront of their minds at all times. With a high sense of responsibility and constant vigilance, they closely monitored every corner of the venue, ensuring fire safety during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. Following this nighttime inspection operation, a number of fire hazards were effectively eliminated, significantly enhancing the fire safety awareness and self-defense and self-rescue capabilities of venue managers and staff, thereby creating a safe and secure fire environment for the public.
