From October 26 to 28, 2009, Zeng Qinghong, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice President of the country, visited Lushan Xihai for an inspection.

On April 22, 2014, Jia Qinglin, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, visited Lushan Xihai for an inspection.

In April 2007, Wen Jiabao, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Premier of the State Council, visited Yijiahe Village, a scenic area.
