Our Xihai is a National Sports Tourism Demonstration Base and one of the first batch of high-quality outdoor sports destinations in China! When it comes to playing pickleball, you’ve got two heavenly options:

First stop: Let’s head to the Xihai Public Fitness Center for a warm-up! This state-of-the-art sports complex, built as a 1:1 scale replica of the Liaoning aircraft carrier, features a professional, electrically retractable indoor-outdoor court. Swing your racket here, and it’ll feel like you’re fighting for the glory of nature itself!

But the real adventure awaits on the lake—head out by boat to Cloud Residence Island, Goddess Island, and Pearl Island. There, perched atop the shimmering blue waters, you’ll find a pink water polo field—the only one in the entire country nestled within a 5A-rated scenic area! As you play amid this picturesque setting, the rhythmic splash of the ball mingling with the gentle lapping of the waves, I’ll be your most enthusiastic caddie and live commentator, guiding you through every stroke and every view.

Look! The Twilight Bazaar by the Mengshengshan Pier—my favorite bustling vantage point. As the setting sun transforms the sky and the lake into a giant glass of “orange soda,” the entire West Sea seems to glow with warm, golden light.

“Want a bit of peace and quiet? Come with me!” Orange takes you on a sneak peek into the infinity pool in Boiling Water Town. Dip your body into the warm water, and before your eyes stretches an unobstructed, ocean-wide expanse of lake. Watch as the sun, like a salted egg yolk, slowly melts into the water, and the sky shifts from orange-red to soft pink-purple.

If you work up a sweat at the West Sea Public Fitness Center until evening, that’s truly wonderful! The exhilaration of exercise, paired with a sunset just steps away on the lakeshore, is the perfect reward for all your hard work.
